Our Fast growing company is hiring an energetic Business Development Associate to help develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. We’re searching for professionals that will be in charge of market research, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. You will work with various departments and report to the Head of Business Development.

Successful applicants should also be willing to travel.

Job Description:

The Business Development Associate is required by the organization to participate in efforts and activities gendered towards business expansion.

He/She will have to conduct market research,collect external data and define trends to recommend a business strategy.

Good interpersonal relationship is a must for this role, since the associate would have to relate with departmental and managerial staff members as well as with customers.

Prefered Skills

Main duties:

  • Conduct market research and identify potential clients.
  • Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  • Keep prospective client database updated
  • Make cold calls for new business leads
  • Assist with drafting business plans, sales pitches, presentations, reference material, and other documents as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of all service offerings of the company
  • Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  • Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years' relevant work experience in business development or similar field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Friendly and personable demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
